But my plans are 255/40/17 in rear and 225/45/17 in front. When test fitting them, they looked like they would be ok... On caveat is that when I test fitted them, I did not have my car lowered. Now I have my car lowered with C Springs, so there may be a problem. I will have the tire guys take a look at it too.

Here is a pic of 245 40 17 on the 06 wheels. Now to make the center cap fit or just make new ones at work. Rims are 17"x8"
THere is a bout 1/2 between the rim and the front strut when the car is jacked up off the ground. The car has been lowered about 2" and feels like a gocart down a rough road. Next tires will be 245/45 for a better ride.
I'm not a big fan of these wheels but there were cheap and go round and round.
Naw, just a bad picture. It's more like black cherry.
That's a nice looking car. I've never seen it before. The rims look very nice on it. Now that I've looked at it some more, the front & rear stance looks well balanced.
Did those 06 wheels need any modification? What I'm getting at is, will they bolt up with no problems on a stock SVO with only the front center cap issue?
Bolted right up. I have the Eibachs pro springs and all stock svo stuff. The rear wheel looked as if the hub would not fit in the rim but it was just tight.
Drove it hard on the curve, humps, and dips with no issues at all.
Very happy with it.
I beat the rear ones out some. Really just turn the inside lip in. The front ones are bent in some but that was before I painted it 3 or 4 years ago. Rubber hammer and a 2" pipe.
